5 Phrases You Should Never Say in Sales

These phrases will damage your sales!
To grow your business and make more money, do not use them.

1. 'I am sorry that I am late'

This lowers your status and puts emphasis on the fact you were late.

Instead, simply say:
Thank you for your patience.

2. 'Do you make the decisions'?

This can appear disrespectful to the person you are talking with and break the deal.

Instead, simply ask this:
Who else will be involved in the process of making the decision?

3. Would you like us to work together?

Cmon, this sounds like a kid in school asking another one 'wanna be my friend'...

Instead, use the assumptive close and say:
Would you be paying with your debit or should we do a paypal?

4. We only work with the best

Many people do not want to be the best or strive to be the best. It sounds gimmicky and elitist without need.

It sounds cool to say this, but it will cost you a lot of sales...

5. My competitors are worse than me

Whenever someone speaks badly about their competitors, I avoid working with them.

Instead, have a competitor analysis checklist, and show what your competitors lack in comparison to your offer.

Let the customer decide if they are worse!
